BUSHELS FOR BURGERS

Which ever way you slice the bun, it's burgers you get for the bushels you donate. It really is quite simple; call either Dawn Beck, Steph Johnson or Perry Anderson requesting a burger party for you and your harvesting crew and in turn you pay them with bushels of wheat, barley, beans or corn. The amount of bushels you donate is up to you, of course, and your generousity is very much appreciated.
Bushels for Burgers is a fundraising project spearheaded by Beck, Johnson and Anderson to help offset the rising costs of maintaining the park and the pool. According to the trio, farmers have been calling in orders and have been very giving so far.
The park board has hired Toni Houchin, Fessenden, to grill up the burgers, provide the chips and soda and make the cookies. In turn, Houchin will donate her profits to the Fessenden Country Club Golf Coarse to help with their water project currently underway.
Please call Dawn at 341-1070, Steph at 212-9132 or Perry at 341-0268 to request a pick up and they'll be sure to deliver a piping-hot meal in return. So watch for the Bushels-4-Burgers delivery/pickup grain truck coming to a field near you!
