Fessenden is centrally located at the cross of Highways 52 & 15.
Founded in 1893 and made the Wells County seat in 1894, we are proud of our past and excited about our future.
Fessenden is a wonderful place to live, work and visit. We have an amazing school, great recreational facilities and a variety of businesses to work with.
On top of all that, we have a number of civic organizations that provide residents with an opportunity to get involved. These include Fessenden Area Community Betterment Association, the Wells County Historical Society, Birthday Club and many more.
A good place to start if you want to get involved is Fessenden Civic & Commerce. FCC is dedicated to promoting the economic and civic aspects of the community. Comprised of business owners and individuals who have a passion for Fessenden, the group develops activities and programs to build awareness for all the great things going on here.
Some of our projects include the annual Park Social, the Show 'n Shine Car Show, Home for the Holidays, the Halloween Warm Up and more. FCC coordinates the Wells County Fair Parade each year and provides a community focused scholarship annually to one Fessenden-Bowdon High School Senior.
Activities are funded using annual membership fees. Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 12:00 pm at The Main Street Diner. Occasionally the group will have an extended evening meeting, which is announced via Facebook.
All are welcome to participate, so join us in making Fessenden a great place to live and work! To get connected, join us at our next meeting or "Like" us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/fessendenciviccommerce.
