The Wells County Museum illustrates the history of the county and features a variety of interesting exhibits, including farm equipment, jewelry, clothing, Native American artifacts, and tools used by the pioneer of the WC area. The main building displays dollhouses, blacksmith shop tools, furniture, spinning wheels, weapons and more. A beautiful dress collection from the 1900’s and the original fixtures from the Cathay Post Office are on display, along with a number of Norwegian artifacts. The museum houses newspapers from around the county throughout the years with fascinating articles about the area and its people. The second annex offers visitors a look at unique pieces of farm equipment and antique vehicles. The Pony Gulch County School is also available to tour as part of the Museum. Open all four days of the Wells County Fair.
